The charm of Trinidad

Trinidad is arguably the most charming town in the Caribbean.

Expect cobblestone streets, pastel painted houses and wrought-iron gates – and a place that is steeped in time. So steeped that if you are lucky (chances are you will be), you will have to make way for a cowboy leading a string of trotting horses through the town.

Just on the outskirts of Trinidad is The Valley of the Sugar Mills. Once the home to a thriving industry, it is now a World Heritage site and has seventy historic sugar cane plantations. Also, nearby is one of the best white sand beaches on the southern coast of the island.

With it’s nearby attractions and a charm factor that is off-the-charts, Trinidad is a must.
